Generous Groups Make Fall Donations
The Schenk Family and Strategic Staffing Solutions Raise Money for Local Children in Need

ST. LOUIS, MO (October 6, 2010) – Two local groups have gotten into the spirit of giving this fall, raising funds for the children and families of Great Circle. The Schenk family of Labadie, Mo. and Strategic Staffing Solutions of Chesterfield, Mo. recently held fundraisers to benefit the kids receiving treatment at Great Circle agencies, including Boys & Girls Town of Missouri and Edgewood Children’s Center.

The Schenk Family recently hosted the 9th Annual Schenk Family Hay Day in memory of John Schenk, Sr., a former Boys & Girls Town of Missouri board member. The family welcomed over 275 children and adults to a day of festivities including a kids’ party, BBQ dinner, bonfire and live bluegrass music. The family has donated over $100,000 and introduced more than 400 donors to Boys & Girls Town programs and services during the past nine years.

Strategic Staffing Solutions, an IT staffing company for local St. Louis companies, hosted their annual golf tournament on September 22 and donated the proceeds of $5,000 to Great Circle. Great Circle agencies have been the beneficiaries of the golf tournament for the past four years.

Great Circle is extremely grateful and humbled by the generosity of both groups.
