The mission of Great Circle is to reshape vulnerable lives through a community
of partners, teachers and leaders, giving children and families the confidence
to create bright futures.
Great Circle teamed up with the Cardinal Players Wives and Moneta Group for Grab Bag 2010 at Busch Stadium on July 18. Over 400 Cardinal-autographed baseballs were sold to raise money for the kids of Great Circle. Signatures included players from the current roster to legends like Stan Musial and Whitey Herzog. Great Circle was created through the merger of Boys & Girls Town of Missouri and Edgewood Children’s Center. The combined agencies provide a full spectrum of treatment services to children who have serious emotional and behavioral disorders — some who have been victims of abuse or neglect.
Great Circle has expertise in residential care, educational services, adventure and wilderness experiences and in family and community outreach. Staff members have many more tools available to them compared to other
programs available to kids. By coming together and adapting this model of
care, Great Circle is a more progressive care provider and a much stronger
voice for the cause of vulnerable children. Our promise is that we can break a cycle that could otherwise be destructive for society. The transformations we achieve mean that every dollar invested in what we do returns a lifelong value.
